Our team is a dynamic mix of skills and creativity, built for impactful solutions. With two developers handling both front and back-end, a project manager keeping us on track, a marketing manager driving engagement, and a UX/UI designer crafting seamless user experiences, we’re equipped to turn ideas into powerful tools. Together, we’re ready to make a difference through thoughtful, community centred innovation.

Research

• Individual Disconnection: Approximately 64% of millennials report feeling disconnected from their communities, with factors like time constraints and lack of local friends contributing to their sense of isolation. This disconnection is further reinforced by preferences for online communities over local interactions, which affects engagement in real-life settings (StudyFinds, 2024).

• Local Organisations Struggling for Volunteers: Many community-based organisations struggle to maintain a steady volunteer base. Studies show that about 45% of such organisations face challenges in recruiting consistent volunteers, affecting their ability to meet local needs effectively. This reflects a gap between community interest and action, which often relates to broader scheduling and accessibility issues in volunteering (Pew Research, 2022).

• Businesses Seeking Community Involvement: Around 70% of small and medium-sized businesses express a strong desire to participate in community initiatives but lack clear, effective channels to engage locally. This lack of avenues for involvement often limits their community impact, as they struggle to connect their social responsibility goals with real community action (Small Business Report, 2021).

These statistics underline the need for a platform to bridge community members, organisations, and local businesses, creating structured engagement pathways through gamification. By leveraging these insights, the platform can address the core issue of community disconnection and harness local resources for meaningful change.

Our Project

Problem:

Community organisations struggle to find and maintain volunteer support, while local businesses want to make a positive impact but lack clear, effective pathways to participate.Existing solutions often fail to fully engage participants, making it difficult to sustain enthusiasm and ongoing involvement. Without a more interactive and rewarding experience, communities miss out on the collective potential of individuals and organisations working together toward shared goals.

Solution:

Our platform brings together individuals, community organisations, and local businesses to drive meaningful change.We pair organisations with impactful initiatives with community members eager to help, fostering authentic support networks. Local businesses can sponsor events or challenges, gaining valuable publicity while contributing to the well-being of the community. Participants not only have the chance to connect with others but also play a vital role in strengthening local organisations. Together, we’re building a community where everyone benefits—organisations receive support, businesses showcase their commitment to social responsibility, and individuals find a place to belong and make a difference.
