💭 The Problem
Imagine this - you are attending a hackathon for the first time. You have no idea what to do. Should you focus on building something technically impressive or solving a real problem? Should you spend more time on the pitch or the prototype? How do you manage your limited time effectively? Should you go broad with your solution or deep? Should you use new cutting-edge technology or stick with what you know? How do you stand out among dozens of other teams?
First-time hackathon participants face a steep learning curve and often make avoidable mistakes that cost them valuable time and reduce their chances of winning.
🎯 Your Mission
Create a tool that empowers hackathon participants to overcome the challenges they face. Whether it's helping with ideation, team dynamics, technical execution, presentation skills, or any other aspect of the hackathon experience - the approach is entirely up to you! We're looking for innovative solutions that address real pain points hackathon participants experience and help them perform at their best.
🎯 How We Judge
When judging, we will use the following judging criteria:
Design - How well was the project designed? Does it look visually appealing?
Functionality - How well does the project work? We want to play with your app!
Creativity - How novel is the solution? Is it unique?
Submission - How nicely is the submission doc formatted? Is it clear how you solve the problem?
